Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, based in Western Pennsylvania. I lead several engineering teams in Azure Observability, focused on our ingestion pipelines, which handle telemetry streams that scale to exabytes of data every day.

LEARNING & INTERESTS#

Outside of work, I’m mostly trying to understand where AI is headed: technical safety, how capable models are likely to get and on what timeline, and what that means for engineers and the industry more broadly.

Right now that means taking Lens Academy’s course on forecasting, modeling, and shaping AI futures — working through timelines, takeoff speeds, and how to reason rigorously about when and how powerful AI arrives.
